Finally got a game where I can just practice against bots offline inorder to get my skills back and keep 'em at the level I want them. My first time playing this and already from the main menu song I can tell that they went back to the basics from the first unreal tournament we all grew to love, but at the same time changed alot of things. Maps are huge, no longer the small arena maps that had our hearts pumping with the insane close-quarters action.
They've also did major balancing to the game. People in vehicles can die just as easily as the people on the ground and those who wield the devastating rocket launcher are nowhere near gods themselves, especially since the maps are huge now and the rockets travel slower. Overall I see why alot of people don't like it, especially those who used to just plain dominate...after running directly to the rocket launcher or vehicles at the start of the game course. I think they've over done it with the balancing myself too. When you can die while driving a vehicle faster then running through halo in a warthog or ghost on legendary difficulty then you're in trouble.
